Let's Talk, Wilsonville!
 (Nov 4)
The City of Wilsonville has created a new web page called, "Let's Talk, Wilsonville!", to make it easier for people to share opinions and ideas — at their convenience — to raise important issues, inform decision-making and shape City projects. The city calls it a virtual City Hall, open 24 hours a day.

There are several pages that require registration to participate. Taking this extra step increases transparency, helps the city understand who is represented, and provides them with an opportunity to better inform people in the future, with information about the projects that interest them. The link below will take you to the page to register by clicking on the box in the lower right corner.

https://www.letstalkwilsonville.com/

Once registered, visit once a month — or more! — to see where public input is needed. Current projects are posted front-and-center on the LetsTalkWilsonville.com home page for your convenience. You can also click on the 'Current Projects' link at the top of each page.

The city looks to make it easier for residents and other community stakeholders to understand what initiatives the City is working on and to join the conversation for an even better Wilsonville.

Boeckman Bridge Project Update
Recently Wilsonville HOA Board member Aaron Woods submitted a question to the "Let's Talk, Wilsonville" team inquiring about the status of the Boeckman Bridge Project.  Below is the response received from the city:

What is the status of the Boeckman Road 'Dip' Bridge project?

Oct. 25, 2019: According to our engineering department, a bridge alternatives study is currently underway to identify traffic impacts and construction costs associated with different bridge alignments and construction methods. This information will inform the design of the bridge before the project begins; the project is scheduled to start in early 2020.

INTERESTED IN BECOMING A BOARD MEMBER ON THE WMHOA?
In February 2020 there will be a few seats up for re-election at our Annual Meeting! If you've ever thought about volunteering to be on the Board Of Directors now is your chance. It doesn't require any previous experience; you can learn as you go! The typical board member spends about an hour per month (sometimes less or slightly more). There are 4 meetings per year and it's fun to be in the driver's seat for what's happening in our neighborhood. Come to our next meeting.  No pressure; just show up and see if this is something you might be interested in.

Our next WMHOA meeting is on

February 5th, 2020
